Finding the love you try to give to everyone else is hard, but it’s even harder when you haven’t found the will to show yourself the love you’ve wanted to give away. Sometimes it feels impossible to love yourself, trust me I know I struggle with the same things, every time I must wear a swimming suit, or every time I miss a deadline or fail it’s a constant struggle to love myself.
Love yourself because you’re more than a failure, bigger than a mistake, stronger than a scale number. You’re allowed to be who you are, no one should make you feel inferior to your true self because no one needs to have that power above you.
Love yourself because God has a plan for you, a bigger picture, an engraved route, and even though you feel lost in the chaos, you’re on your way to something more.
There’s more to life than everyone’s approval. Respect yourself, and love yourself because you’re worth at least that. Having self-respect, morals, and love for yourself is hard, but living in a life of self-hatred is even harder.
Love yourself so you don’t seek love from toxic places, so you don’t desire to have approval from places you don’t need it from. No one knows you better than you know yourself, and that’s something so pure you don’t need validation. You should learn and uncover the uncomfortable parts, the uncharted territory, the dark sections. Love yourself because of the hardships you’ve faced, the scars you’ve warn, and the battles you’ve fought.
Love yourself because it isn’t anyone’s job to love you. Love yourself because no one is perfect, and we all face insecurities. Love yourself so when the time comes to love someone else you’re capable of just that.
Love yourself because you are enough and you always have been, you’ve just been too busy giving love to the wrong people to realize it.
