Lately I’ve been thinking I’m ready to get back into blogging it had been such a wonderful outlet for me in the past that I figured it’s not too late to start again. However, every “great” return starts with a comeback story. It’s been approximately a year since my last blog was published, and a lot has changed since that point in my life.

For those of you who don’t have tabs on me I’ll give you an extremely condensed rough timeline of what’s been happening in my life since my last post. As much as I would like to tell you every detail of my life, that would make for an excessively long blog that could perhaps bore you into tears. I would be stuck with my next blog being as an empty page because I let all the good stuff out already.

January 2018-Knee Surgery, a new pickup, and a “spout” of depression

February-May 2018 I spent a lot of time as a less productive, high anxiety ridden human, resorted to drinking, and closed off a lot of people in my life as they were trying to support me. Honestly this probably had been going on a lot longer, I just didn’t realize how bad my mental health was until I confided in a friend/mentor in my life.

April 2018- I went on the trip of a lifetime to Georgia to visit one of my best friends.

June 2018-Started working for a company as temporary help (currently still working for that company, with an amazing set of coworkers, and doing something I absolutely love).

June was also the month that I decided to ignore my body completely and ended up staying in the hospital for a week with severe sepsis.

July 2018-Moved in with the coolest roommates ever. Also I was seriously kind of all over the boards and a hot mess this summer. I can honestly say I wasn’t proud of who I was, and I’m more than thankful that girl is gone.

August 2018- Further realized that I couldn’t stand having a job that kept me at a desk constantly.

September 2018- Bought my roommate a corgi, jokingly asked the corgi breeders mechanic son if he would change the oil in my pickup before I drove back to Montana. He in fact did, and thus evolves the story of me finding my soulmate (ill spill those details in a later blog).

October 2018-Corgi breeders son drove 8 hours to hang out with me, at hour 6 I asked him to turn around. He never listened, which resulted in me figuring out I have major feelings for this guy, and awkwardly ugly crying in front of him, because feelings are scary. I turned down a job in North Dakota, to stay with North 40 Ag in a permanent position.

November 2018- Fist bumped Baxter after he said he’d love me even if I had a taco food baby all the time.

December 2018- Was able to wean myself off a high dose of Prozac I had to take for well over 6 months (YAY for overcoming mental health issues, well at least the medicated part). I also was given a fiddle for Christmas because I was dating someone that listened to every random thought and idea I had. So, when I casually mentioned fiddles are so cool, I would love to learn how to fiddle, he decided he would help me take the initial steps to get there. 2019 should have more fiddle lessons…

January 2019-Some cute Idaho boy moved to Montana

February 2019- Nothing exciting happened here except I did get a Dremel for Valentine’s day and if that doesn’t scream romantic than I’m not sure what does. Also, it was above zero maybe 5 days, you can’t just function in that kind of weather.

April 2019-Turned a quarter of a century, no need for any more excitement than that.

May 2019- I crossed skydiving off my bucket list thanks to some super great friends that scheduled pushing me out of a plane by surprise. I also ran my first Spartan Beast!

June 2019- My best friend proposed to me. Exactly 9 months after we kindled things through a dog breed neither one of us particularly like. Some may think it’s quick, but when you know something is forever why wait.

July 2019-I found out Puerto Ricans can get sun burnt while spending excessive hours floating the river, and my fiancé can’t pronounce his own name while in pirate mode.

SOOO obviously there’s a brief summary on what you’re going to get to read about over the next few months, but I can honestly say I’m back and I can’t wait to share all my adulting honorable mention moments with you. If you read this far, well thanks for bearing with me, and I promise they won’t be nearly as boring in the future. Unfortunately for you the future isn’t right now.

Enjoy your day, and you’ll be hearing from me soon!

Sincerely,

The Forever Hotmess Jules
